A Poem From Soul to Self
An Eight Part Sage of Self
I
What will it takeTo take a chance
To try on one’s life again?
Time has touched us
It's pushed us
It's rushed us
It's taken and given our breath again and again.
These days
These nights
And all that is inbetween
Are held hostage by
Bigger emotions then
Most of us have seen
No trouble
Big trouble
The tension that waits
Hidden behind
what ifs
He said
She said
They said
I said
It's just our fate
Even the Meanings
The Estimations
The Percentiles
The Reasons for who or what to blame
And massive deaths
Waiting
Paralized by a cruel game
It's has no true power for us
There are trinkets of tactics to hold on
Get by
Try this
Try that
And more people die
Are we collectively caving in?
Are we finding we are limited to hiding?
Hiding with our Hands bound to an electric screen
Taking in more than a human brain should take in
Watching
Every
Single
Thing
Including
Numerous murders
Murderers dressed in disguise
Receiving our trust in protection and integrity.
Ha
There is no integrity
When on plans
Another’s demise!
II
Where is our safety
Where do we go?
In one man ?
One Dying Democracy?
One's Job?
One's Health Care
We are dying to know.
Who has the light
To lead us through this tunnel,
Of Dark Discontent,
Mistrust,
Disgust,
Dishonor, and
Deceit?
Who?
III
I dreamt
As a child
Again and again
Of a dark black cloud of smoke
Moving down my street
Destroying all life around me
All,
But for me.
I ran and hid in the plowed corn fields
Trying to hide from an evil death
I remember laying
Under and empty sunless sky
Crying
And waking in a sweat
Shaking
IV
When I was 40,
after 911,
I dreamt
I dreamt I heard the enemy
boldly provlaim
We will take down the United states
slowly
We will divide you
We will weaken your health
We will wear you down
Sabotage humanity with division and mistrust
We will push you all inside
Keep you contained by confusion and fear
We will collapse their economy
Only Then, will we strike
And then we will take the land of the free
And the home of the brave
Deep into a place of imprisonment, and fear.
After this
The few remaining in a crumpled government
Will see a war as never before
Biowatfare is far more economical for all of us.
Far easier to infect a culture
Already crippled by their self made
Gluttony and self disrespect.
And I woke up in that same 8 year old body
Shaking
V
This dream haunts me
It caused me to move from Oakland
All the way to Mendocino Country!
I shake just remembering this dream
I still do
Even now
Esp now days
I shake
Ok I'm awake
Ahhh I can breath again
Breath with me
One inhale
Expanding your rib cage
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8
Ahhh
Release it slowly
Pressing your lips together
Missing one's breath as it slowly
Emerges from your
Temple within
Feel the life left in your breath .
The soul source of your human existence.
Feel it
Your Temple
Within
VI
So many can't breath .
Murder
Disease
Fear
Pollution
So many can't drink the water because
It's polluted
It's too far from home
It's gone
So many hungry
Starving while neighbors continue to
Consume
Dying
We all are dying .
Waiting to die
Mostly because
Someone told us somewhere that in such and such a time
We will cease to be
We will lose the ”make believe” race of immortality
VII
Goodness we were born to die
We were born to love our joy
And find that self made joy to share
We get to share our common thread since birth
We are born to love
We are born to trust
To wonder in innocent faith
We are taught to fear
VIII
Take back your
Most beautiful
Most Sacred
Most GENUINE
Authentic aspect of why you are here.
Take back
Each
And
Every
Moment
It's yours to breath in
What ”right now”
Really Is
Right Now?
Right now,
There is only you reading my moment
Put down for you
Coaxing
Calling
Inviting you back to
This
One
Perfectc
Thing
After all;
When it comes back around this moment
I write this now
And as alive as you reading this
We sit with the Nowness of eternity
That's correct
Right here
Right now
What will it take to give yourself
Your life back again?
